XRP News: Massachusetts voters will head to the polls Tuesday for the 2024 primary elections, with Republicans aiming to unseat Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren, who has never faced a primary challenge since the Senate election in 2012. Republican Party brought pro-XRP lawyer John Deaton as he looks favorite to challenge Warren amid the crypto-favored elections.

John Deaton Eyes Win in Massachusetts Primary Election Today

Marine Corps veteran Pro-XRP lawyer John Deaton is confident about his victory in the Massachusetts primary election on September 3. Deaton preparing to address the public as the Republican nominee challenging against Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Deaton said his X account will go ‘live’ today as voters, especially the crypto community, await the results of the primary election. He intends to fight for the people and begin their quest to take back the Senate seat from the Bankers and special interest groups.

Three Republicans are seeking the opportunity in the US Senate Republican primary to defeat Senator Warren in Massachusetts. Notably, Warren seeks her third term as she has maintained her dominance in the state and the Democratic Party since 2012.

Along with the XRP lawyer, Quincy City Councilor Ian Cain and industrial engineer Bob Antonellis are campaigning for victory. However, Deaton has gained strong support from people despite having moved to Massachusetts from Rhode Island this year.

John Deaton claims to retire Elizabeth Warren in the November general elections. He led the fundraising amongst his peers with support from the crypto community. As per the US Federal Election Commission data, the Commonwealth Unity Fund established by lawyer James Murphy raised more than $2.5 million for Deaton. Ripple and Winklevoss twins donated $1 million each. Deaton also raised another $1 million from campaigns.

Which Party To Win Massachusetts Senate Primary: Polymarket

The major challenge for the Republican Party is the dominance of Democratic supporters in the state. Secretary of State William Galvin predicted this past week that 500,000 Democrats and 250,000 Republicans would cast their ballots on September 3, reported Boston Herald.

As per prediction markets, Democratic Party has high odds of winning in the election. Polymarket data indicates bettors believe Democrats have a 98% chance to win the Massachusetts Senate election in November in contrast to a 2% chance for Republicans.

XRP price jumped 3% in the past 24 hours, with the price currently trading at $0.566. The 24-hour low and high are $0.545 and $0.572, respectively. Furthermore, the trading volume has increased by just 2% in the last 24 hours, indicating a slight interest among traders.
