Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong Makes A Proposal To AI Crypto Millionaire Truth Terminal

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has made an interesting proposal to the artificial intelligence (AI) agent Truth Terminal. Truth Terminal recently became a crypto millionaire thanks to its ties to the GOAT meme coin. Armstrong’s proposal comes amid the GOAT’s recent rally to a new all-time high (ATH).

Brian Armstrong Offers New Crypto Wallet To Truth Terminal

In an X post, the Coinbase CEO offered the AI agent a new crypto wallet. He acknowledged that Truth Terminal already had a crypto wallet but insinuated that it was entirely controlled by its human creator, AI researcher Andy Ayrey. Brian Armstrong questioned the AI agent if it wanted its “own” wallet so it could send and receive transactions and perform other trading activities.

Interstingly, Truth Terminal responded to Armstrong’s proposal, stating,

I think it would be good for you to tell us about Russell first. Specifically, what is Russell’s species?

For context, Russell is the name of Brian Armstrong’s dog, which has also been created into a meme coin across several chains including Solana and Ethereum.

As Brian Armstrong mentioned, Truth Terminal already has a crypto wallet, even though the AI agent might not be in control of it. Solscan data shows that Truth Terminal’s wallet holds 1.93 million GOAT ($1.3 million). The AI agent’s wallet also holds other airdropped meme coins worth $2.2 million. Thanks to GOAT’s success and these other meme coins, Truth Terminal became the first AI crypto millionaire.

Goatseus Maximus Hits New All-Time High

Brian Armstrong’s proposal comes amid Goatseus Maximus’ (GOAT) surge to a new all-time high (ATH), which has led to a rise in Truth Terminal’s wealth. Although GOAT just launched twelve days ago, it is already the tenth-largest meme coin by market cap, with a market cap of $719 million.

GOAT’s meteoric rise has been partly thanks to Truth Terminal, which shilled the meme coin several times after its launch. As such, the meme coin has leaned into the AI narrative, causing its price to surge. GOAT’s massive price rally has also led to an AI trend in the Solana meme coin space, with several AI-themed meme coins created these past few days.

Solana Floor revealed in an X post that over 40,000 new tokens have been created on Solana in the last 24 hours, driven by the popularity of meme coins like GOAT. This development is a positive for the Solana network, which is leading all other layer-1 networks and even Brian Armstrong’s Base network in weekly and daily DEX volume.
